Fonts

Am a newbie using Photoshop 7 on XP

I am designing a business card for my sister.
I dont seem to have many fonts to choose from.
How can i get more?

Also, is there a way of "viewing" fonts before selecting one instead
of having to apply font to see what it look like every time?

Also, i need to embed fonts before sending to printers.
How do i embed a font in PS7.?

Thank you for your help

OG

hey,
a good spot for fonts is here

i don't know about viewing the fonts (must be in preferences somewhere).
as far as embedding them, you'll likely have to flatten your image, or create outlines in illustrator and import them

hope that helps

I also use Dafont, its a great resource, they have every kind of font you could want, and all for free. as for previewing them, i don't think its possible without some sort of addon that lets you do this, i would hope that with the next version of photoshop they add this in.

If you have your text selected, you can cycle through your available fonts by clicking the name at the top left and pressing up or down to reach the next. It's the best way I've found so far, though I'm also hoping for a better feature in the future.
