GIMP - Colour depth 24bit?
I realise GIMP isn't quite photoshop, but the question is quite general I think.
I need to make an advert for a big plasma screen thingy, and I've been asked to provide it in the following format: Jpeg 856 x 480 x 24bit 300 dpi RGB print format The bit I can't figure out is the 24bit, the colour depth (z dimension)? Is it possible to get GIMP to save to that colour depth? Also, for the x & y dimensions of image, 856x480, I assumed that was in pixels? or would it be typical to state that in bits? Cheers

JPEG format is in 24 bit color. Yes, Gimp will work with that. All hail the GIMP!
