Graphical headers
I am adding a page to this website
www.sudarshanaloka.org/sudarshanaloka.html

Can I use photoshop to produce a graphical header in the same style as the image used on this page... The red writing saying "Sudarshanalok 'land of beautiful vision'" ?

It doesn't look like it's been drawn by hand. Is there a tool in photoshop or fireworks that does this kind of thing?

a text tool in either of the programs you mentioned. pretty straightforward. just save it as a .gif and optimize for the web when you have it the way you want.
