HELP: I can't open jpg/jpeg files in PS.7.0!
First I had problems with my primary scratch settings in which I changed the volumes..but since I bought a new PC I was making some graphics in Photoshop 7.0 and one day it no longer let me open .jpg/.jpeg files no matter how many times I try! PLEASE HELP!!

I'm hoping someone else knows why this is..I've re-installed many times and it doesn't solve the problem at all.

I can open BMP files for some reason yet not .jpgs.

try opening the jpg in IE then saving the file again as a different name...

there could be a number of things wrong with the file...color mode, etc...

let us know...

Hi John, it seems to be doing it with every photo file! That includes jpgs, bmps, I just don't understand this!
My father is going to ask a colleague but I thought I'd ask if anyone here knows anything?
