help learning
hello i am new to this forum and totally new to photoshop. i know jsut enough to do what i need but that isnt anything compared to what photoshop is capable. i have adobe photoshop 7 and was wondering if anyone knew of any free good tutorials or other helpful things to get me going. thanks alot

i am looking for tutorials that help with general learning. not so much as tutorials that show how to make a brick background or different textures. more alongs the lines of getting started and figuring out what buttons do what and what PS 7 can do. thanks

The "...for Dummies" line of books has a great one for Photoshop that covers all the bases and basics.

Here's a website that gives a broad overview of Photoshop 7, as well as tutorials on it's tools, palettes, and menus.
