Help!! PS7 OSX Color all srewed up!

I desperately need help please anyone...

i've installed PS 7 on a brand new G4, no matter what color modes or color settings i use..the color only displays like a gradient of neon green to neon purple. I cant get any other colors!

Imageready which came with works fine. I've tried switching color settings..reinstalling..even uninstalling illustrator to see if the color settings were getting screwed with.

The funny thing is when have an image open and go to Save for Web..the display shows the color the way it should be...ahhh!

Any help with this would be great...ive tried everything!
