help w/ text on a path
is it possible to put text on a path like having the word blah go from bot left corner to top right corner etc.???? that smiley just about gets me

When you create new text, it's created as a new text layer. You can then render the layer, select the text, and rotate it 45 degrees to accomplish what you're after.

Do all your text effects with a regular text layer, then convert it to any path or channel you like, and always keep a backup of that text layer.
