How avoid saving the same filename repaetedly in an action
i'm trying to resize, and change the file type for a group of files in a folder using action facilities. when i add 'save for web' in the action, it saves the file as 'untitled1' . Next time i save a file, it replaces the old one.
i don't want this, i want it to save it, but with the original name. any ideas??

In the Actions palette, there is a little blank icon by certain recorded actions. If you click this icon, it will cause the action to ask you what you want it to do instead of doing a pre-specified option. For example, if you have a recorded Levels change that makes an image lighter, then leaving the icon unselected will cause the Levels to change the exact same way every time. However, if you select the icon, running the action will pop up the Levels dialog box so you can make changes manually, then continue running the action. You following? You want to check this icon for the save option.
