I finally found out how to fix the polygon although my results dont look anything like the sample! How do I make the letters inside the polygon. Secondly how do I make the polygon transparent. I tried one with the line tool but it is not perfect or even smooth! Please give some direction. Thanks

What program are you using? In fireworks - you can make a smart polygon - which can have a polygon within a polygon

Hmm - I had a play around and combined 3 smart polygons in fireworks, added the letters BG, and used the skew tool and added a drop shadow- is this what you were looking for?

I've added a textured background, and the letters look better, but I still don't think that they are right

Yes, I dont have Fireworks though, I use PS 6. I like the textured bg and that is what I am aiming at. Thanks a bunch.

Not necessarily, whatever looks good will do. The only thing that must be there is that green thing on the left. Thanks!

Do you have any colour scheme preferences, or can it be anything?

Something that will look good against a white bg or light blue (RGB# A5D9E5) I prefer a light blue or Darker blue background in the end for the web site. So I am thinking yellow is not the proper choice for the logo. What do you suggest?

Yes - something with blue - blue goes very well with white. I would have a white background, maybe with a blue border
