How do I prevent the blurry image when saving a file?
Hi!!
What I have is an alias bitmap (Not anti-alias bitmap) in Phtoshop, when I save it as psd format (photoshop format), the bitmap is preserved. But when I save it as gif or png or whatever, the bitmap become blurs around the edges, making the images be anti-alias bitmap. I don't want that. I want the images to continue to stay alias when saving it into jpeg or png or whatever. How do I do that? Thanks, FletchSOD |

jagged jpg using photoshop
photoshop seems to save bmp with 'jagged' edges no problem as jpgs.
the key is to make sure that the edges of shape stay on exact pixels. if you use 'save for web' and resize the image.... ...the edges cant remain crisp and jagged. photoshop will interpolate the pixels that are partially overlapped with 2 different colors. moving or resizing the image in photoshop will cause this problem too. here is a file i saved as a jagged jpg using photoshop. no anti-aliasing occurs.
