How to Blend Several Images Together??

Guys can you advise on how I can get such a blend in preferably fireworks. I have tried and it is not working for me. Please advise. Thank you.

I found a tutorial here but it was not helpful and the image was done by the same person http://www.psphelp.com/Version8/v8masks_02.html

Hi jamesbak,

You could try visiting the PhotoshopCafe .

It's full of tutorials etc. for things like this.

belnding in photoshop

Here's what I do in photoshop. first do a "new" photo. whatever size you want. then i open up all the photos I want to use in the blend. see my header at centralmaineweb.com, urbanbynature.com and incamaine.com first to see if this fits in with what you're trying to do. now there' two choices. you can either use the whole photo, or you can use the magnetic lasso to pull something out of the photo you want. check out sportzkid.com and you'll see pics of children that i pulled out. once you get all your images "thrown" on the canvas you click the layer so the tools come up and you can make one image a bit more transparent, which is what they did in your attahed photo, one thing I do is use the eraser in this format. first I select "soft" and fairly small to get rid of the straight edge. then i increase the size to "blend" it in. I do most of my blending with the eraser tool actually. let me know if you have more questions I'd be glad to help all I can . Im no pro but I seem to be having success doing this one thing.

Hey!

Anaka Foundation - I remember that!!

I thought that you had a final logo before?

Anyway, I'm not sure with fireworks, but I'll have a play in Photoshop with them.

EDIT: Could you post the original logo, without any faces on.

I've had a little go, and used the background that I made before, and just put the faces on, as well as adding strokes around the tree and words, like you have in yours.

I know the cropping of the faces isn't very good, but what about the general layout, or do you want the faces fading away or anything else.
