To crop an image simply select the crop tool (see attached image), then draw a rectangle over what you want to keep. Then double click inside the rectangle. Voila! Then, say you want to export as a .jpg, simply click, File >> Save As. Then in drop down box select .jpg! ![]() Hope this is what you wanted to know. |

No offense, but have you tried reading the manual? They give detailed instructions on how to crop and how to do destructive vs. non destructive crops. |

Hi. It would seem to me that you will want to use the Extract filter from the filter menu. This will open another dialogue box and enable you to select the part of the image you want to extract. It has many variables and can be used quite successfully with a bit of practice. The basic principle is that you outline the part of the image you need with the highlighter, extract it and tidy up the edges of the image. You are able to restore the edges of the image if you need to. There are other ways to achieve your aim but this is probably the quickest. Hope this helps.

As AlphoZeroOne said, you could try the extract filter.
Here is a little tutorial that may be of use: http://www.gfxschool.com/tutorials/...ngoutimages.php |
