how to make wood textures glossy?
Hi I was wanting some advice as how to make a wood texture appear lacquered in photoshop, I have been experimenting with text and then placed same on a wooden panel back ground, looks okay but a gloss finish would improve it, very new to photoshop but loving it, any advice/ links to tutorials appreciated

hi there,
i have searched for plugins and have never found anything that looks right. i find the best way is to highlight the wood with a lighter shade of the same colour, set the opacity to 30% and build the desired effect from there. |
