how to save png's at lesser quality?
ok, i am trying to save my png files at a lesser quality, like you can with jpegs, anyway i can do this?
i am using Photoshop CS by the way |

not sure if its the same as photoshop elements but can you not do save for web?
then choose png and choose the quality from there? |

if CS is close enough to ps7 then you should be able to save for web, like th8four mentioned.
Of course, ps7's png compression is not the best, don't know if they improved it in CS. If they didn't, then you'll find your images are still pretty large, you can download a free program called optipng. It will optimize your png file compression, usaully takes of about 15-20% more... I think ![]()

You might also try saving as a .jpg, then converting THAT image to .png.
