How would you fill in a text? (CS5)

For example, the text Varsity.

xxxx://xxx.dafont.xxx/varsity-regular.font
(just replace the x's with http, www, and .com)

The outline is part of the font and it is transparent. So if I have a blue background for example, the white outline would be blue. So my question is, how do I make this white while still keeping my blue background?

i had to colour this very font for one of my pics, all i did was create a layer under it and paint in the gaps. there's no way of doing stuff to a font itself. the alternative is to look for a solid font, like http://www.fontspace.com/william-boyd/freshman
