HUD color picker not displaying in CS5

HUD color picker not displaying in CS5

When i press control+option+command+left click (on Mac), the HUD color picker appears only very quickly but does not stay on screen rendering it unusable. What could be the problem?

Get rid of the Mac. jk, try clicking somewhere in the document even after it disappears. Does it still select the color or no? Sometimes the cursor just acts funny (like if you have cap locks on)

I discovered the problem, burton-. I'm using the trackpad on my macbook and instead of tapping with one finger to left-click, i should do a three-finger tap with control+option+command for the HUD color picker to work.
