Hull textures

hi all ! Im contributing in a project called infinity the quest for earth http://www.infinity-universe.com/Infinity/ And since its a space game Im trying to get hull textures/tutorials.

Is there any good resources for that? I have looked but there is nothing detailed or good enough.

Have you tried looking at stock image sites like iStock?

If you were feeling creative you could look for own textures in your local area and shoot them with a digital camera.

I mean hull with plating,etc more suitable for spaceships. I dont really mean a metal base or something simialr.

You might need to utilise the warp tool to shape your metal texture the way you like.
