Try booting to Safe Mode & deleting the files from there. Or, boot to a floppy & delete from DOS command line.

wierd enough...
yesterday, i rebooted... and retried. still nothing. was telling me that i couldnt delete them because photoshop was using them. Any other PSd i tried to delete worked fine. it was only that specific folder that was giving me trouble... it worked like it should when i tried today. |

The problem is rarely caused by photoshop. Often it is good old Windows that is to blame. I know using XP that there are bugs occasionally generated by viewing photoshop documents in thumbnails or filmstrip form. Change the view type to 'list' and the file will delete.
- I don't know why, it just works! |
