I know this may sound stupid
But can anyone tell me how I can get the Box, Frame or edge out of my picture? I did the inverse and feather to get a blend/shadow, but the frame is still there.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! |

THere are many ways to fade your image into the (I assume white) background.
1. The Easy way: Open the actions palette. Then, draw a marquee about 30-50 pixels in (or so have to play w/ it till you get what you like). Then highlight the Vignette action, and click the play button. THis will give you a uniform "framed" vingette around the image, and will fade it into your background. 2. The intermediate way. Create a layer mask on the image, and use a med sized soft brush. Make the opacity setting at about 70% or whatever is comfortable for you, and paint around the edges to fade the image out into the background. This is the one I would personally use, and among design pros. You have more control over how you want your image to fade into the background. *also depends on what you are using the image for. ![]() Have fun! Valerie |
