i'm trying to follow this easy tutorial and i still cant get it, please help, link to

so i hit new, made it 8.5X11 canvas

opened up a bunch of photos

i cant find the rubber stamp icon, i only saw the clone stamp tool, which i assume is the same, so i did as it said, i went to a photo and hit alt, then i went to canvas, clicked and moved the mouse but nothing shows, what am i doing wrong?

its not a very clear tutorial.

To use the clone stamp tool (which is the same as the rubber stamp tool) you need to select the photo, then press and HOLD alt and click on the source area for your stamp.

Relase the alt key and then click to "paint" with the clonestamp tool.

do i select photo with the magic wand tool? not exactly sure of what your saying

1. Select the Clone tool
2. Hold the alt key down while you drag your cursor over the part you would like to clone.
3. Let go of alt key and then drag the mouse over the part you would like to paint. This will fill the desired area with the part you cloned/sampled.

Note, brush size will affect the amount sampled and filled. So, if you pick a big ol' brush, it's gonna sample a big ol' area and subsequently fill a big ol' area.
