Question Image Resizing in Photoshop 6

    Hello,

I have a 200 x 200 black and white picture, and I am trying to resize to a 800 x 800. I tried on the image size, but it only blow it up for me, the image is not sharp anymore.

Are there any ways I can blow it up and still have good quality image?

    Thanks

ok, to start with, although PS is good there are limits and a 200% increase in size will push the resizing functions to the limit.

You can try resizing and then sharpening the image. Or you could try resizing using a different resampling method (ie bi linear or nearest neighbour) ...

Unsharp Mask under the Sharpen tools can usually give pretty good results if you play around with the settings.

    Thumbs up

    Thanks,
    It works!

Another question is if the picture is fairly long, it is almost like 2 page print.
I tried to print out, but it only gives me the 1st half. Where should I do to get the 2nd half?

    Thanks again.

    hmm,

printing across pages is difficult. You can either scale it to fit on one page or cut it in half and print the two seperate images
