Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum. I basically just came to ask this question...........
I want to create a webpage using ImageReady. I know a bit about it already. I just wanted to know: how do you make text that is 'selectable' when browsing a webpage? Basically, I want it as text, instead of a picture, so you can highlight/copy/cut it etc. Is this even possible? please reply soon! |

This is very possible, unfortunately, ImageReady is not the tool for this.
ImageReady will create wonderful graphics for you, it will also write HTML, but again, it's real job is to create graphics. A web page, in its basic form, is made up of graphics and text. The text bit is just that, "text", literally typed in the web page source, the HTML file. As you've seen, when ImageReady creates text from a photoshop file or something, its a graphic of text, and therefore unselectable. To make a web page with graphics and real (selectable) text, you'll have to do your own HTML, either by hand using something like Notepad or Homesite, or using a visual editor, like Macromedia Dreamweaver or Adobe GoLive. |
