Is it possible to unlock Gif file?
Could someone please let me know if it is possible to unlock a gif file??

I am trying to edit a gif and also trying to drag something from a gif file into another which also doesn't work. Some enlightenment would be wonderful!!

Nope. There's nothing in a .gif file to unlock; it's one flat image. You can select with the magic wand like any image and drag that selection to another file (be sure to change the color mode from Index to RGB first, though).
