Is it possible to unlock tif file?
I created a picture by using Photoshop CS, there are several layers I made, I saved it as tif file, but when I open it , there is no layer in the pictures. it shows a locked background. could someone help me how to unlock the tif files?
Thanks in advance! |

On the Mac version of CS when you are saving a layered file as a tif there is the option to save the layers within the tif file although this makes it a much larger file. If you didnt have this option set when you originally saved the file, basically not a thing you can do about it.
Personally I would save it as a layered Photoshop PSD file and save a copy as a flattened tif file. Then if I need to edit the layered file I can open the PSD file and save over the tif file when I'm finished, but always keeping the updated PSD file seperate. |
