Is there any practical tutorial

Hello,

I am new to this photoshop.

Is there any tutotrial that can demonstrate the use of the all the toolbox in the workspace including menu, toolbox in the leftside and right side of the workspace?.

I tried to practice what is shown in one youtube, but it did not happened like what I want.

For example in fill in the color of the layer (background color) with white color.

I see the important thing to know is the the sequence of step by step action. If we want to color the layer. Is it color that we want to choose first? or the tool the we choose first then coose the color then click the layaer?. I do it but it did not happend. Nothing is filled in the layer background color.
