Joining lines in illustrator, not through endpoints
Is there a way to join two lines through anchor points and not endpoints? Simple example would be to create a 'T' object by joining two lines.

i can't remember exactly, but it uses the 'pathfinder' tool to merge the two paths together.
hope that helps! |

I've been playing around with the pathfinder option, but I seems it will go as far as just grouping the two objects, unless I'm mistaken.
Is there a way to make the two objects into one? |
