If you want the same text on each image, you could record an Action to do it for you. - Open one of your images, and make sure the Action Palette is visible (Window > Actions).
Click the new Action button (see attached image) and name your action. It will ask you what set you want to put it in. The Default set is fine.
Press the Record button at the bottom of the Actions Palette.
Proceed to place your text where you want it to appear on the image. Make any adjustments etc while still recording (Colour, opacity etc.).
When you have got it how you want it to appear, press the stop button at the bottom of the Actions palette, then close the image without saving.
Once you have setup your action, you need to Run it over the folder of your images. - Without any images open, go to: File > Automate > Batch...
At the top, it asks you which action you want to play from which set. Select the Default set and choose your action from the drop down list.
The next part is the Source (what you want to run the action over). Select Folder from the drop down menu and then click Choose and navigate to your folder of images.
The next section is what you want to do when the action is finished. You have the option of 'None' which will play the action then leave the image open and unsaved. 'Save and Close' which will play the action, save and then close the image in the same place it was opened from. Or you can choose 'Folder' to choose a different folder so that you can keep the originals untouched. I recommend this option but it is up to you.
Once you have set it up, click OK then go get a cup of coffee or go to bed or watch TV or something, because it will take a while to do 300 images.
Once its done you should have 300 images with exactly the same text wherever you positioned it in the first place.
Hope this helps
