Light effect
I just saw a concert on television (A-Ha in Norway). The stage was bathed in blue and there were these very intense green stage lights with 6 point light effects to the (I'm not sure what you call them, but they are like you see on Christmas cards or when using certain camera filters.)
How can I create this effect in PS? |

As I was saying before my keyboard went mental...
You can create a semi transparent layer and use a color overlay to create the blue bathed effect, (layer tool box-->blending options) then you can play with the lighting effects for hours and try to get the look that you want (menu-->filter-->render-->lighting effects)

There are a couple of different ways to do this.
1. Create a new layer fill it with the colour you want (white is usually the most intuitive) then set it's opacity from the layer tool panel 2. Create a new layer and fill it with colour you want, but this time set the opacity on the properties bar, prior to creating the fill. |
