making an object the same colour as another?
Hi,
I have images of two different canoes, one is grey, the other is orange. I would like to make the orange one the exactly the same colour as the grey one. How do I do this? First I tried selecting the orange one, then filling it with the colour of the grey one (Edit > Fill >Mode=Colour) - but of course this retains the dark tone of the orange. Thanks, I hope that makes sense. M |

Doing this in the past I set the two side by side and use the Color Balance (Alt+I, A, B) to offset the colors. There's also the Brightness and Contrast (Alt+I, A, C) available for alteration.
Should that be too difficult a task, there's always blending them with Alpha channels and blurs. G'luck. |

You could also try using the 'replace color' ('image', 'adjustments').
