Mirroring an image

How can I mirror an image?

Not sure of your photoshop version, but you should find the menus are almost the same place
1. Choose Image > Canvas Size, and double the width of the canvas.Use the anchor to anchor the image to one of the sides.
2. With the background layer selected Choose Layer > duplicate layer
4. Now click on the new layer called background copy and tap V on your keyboard, You can now Move the selected layer to the side where the other layer is not residning.
5. Choose Image > Flip Horizontal
Its now mirrored.

you can also flip vertically.

I hope this is what you ment!
