Need basic image editing help fast
I want to change a small gif file like THIS from "product development" to "software development"
The problem is that the image is already saved as is and is not "text-editable" - what is the quickest way to get this done? thanks! Tim

If all it is is text, I'd just make a new one from scratch. If it's part of a navigation menu, you'll need to do your best to match the font and size.

thanks, the problem is that someone else created the navigation menu, and i hate to trash all his work and start from scratch
trying to make the image text look exactly like his (i.e. placing it in the right spots, matching font sizes, etc) is not worth the hassle oh well, thanks!

If he didn't leave layered files available so that you could make those kinds of modifications, then he shouldn't be surprised when all his work's trashed.
A drag for you to have to redo it all, though.
