Need help with Borders/Edges

Hiya.

I have made a little avatar, and want it, to have a little black border or edge, or what it's called, around of it.

How do I make this?

Thanks

Well, for a border around an avatar I usually do this:

-Make a new solid layer the size of your comp.
-Set the blending mode to "multiply".
-Double click on the layer in the layers palette.
-Apply a stroke, make sure the position of it is "inside".
-Adjust the options to your liking.

hth,

All you have to do is ne on the layer with the image go to edit/stroke and pick how thick you want it.
