Hi,
first off...do yourself and every other viewer of your site a favour and don't tile an image across the background. head over to pixel2life...there are loads of photoshop tutorials on just such a thing. hope that helps.

I'm new to this and thats the only "term" I understand, how else would I get 2 logos interchanging on a background? to be more specific of what I want:
what I'm looking for of the actual logos is like this apple logo: »www.jelene.com/wallpaper/apple07.jpg but I want it on a background similar to that but in silver as for the logos I want to use, I want it to be "tiled" so the whole background will be covered in logos logos I want: http://www.ioffer.com/img/1128668400/_i/8466755/1.jpg or http://static.zoovy.com/img/toonstation/W150-H150-Beeeeee/red_sox_2_socks.jpg and http://www.seatseek.com/images/new_england_patriots_logo_200.jpg |

I do understand what you're saying, and 'tiled' is the correct term...however, IMHO, tiled backgrounds are a bit on the tacky side. That's all I'm sayin'.
To get a silver look to your logos, simply double click on the layer in PS, to open the 'blending options' window...select 'gradient overlay' and play with the settings until you get the look you're after. Hope that helps. |

I dont want them tiled ontop of one another, maybe a logo in each quadrant of your screen, maybe I should use a cascading background(is that the right term?) that moves with you as you scroll. I don't know howto do that though. |

Hmm...well, if you didn't want 'em tiled, then you shouldn't have said you wanted them tiled...at any rate, head over to bonrouge.com...there are some great CSS tuts. there, including (i think) how to get the content to scroll but the background remains stationary.
Good luck! |
