Outlining Text: NEED HELP!
Hey, how do i simply outline text, it seems realy simple but ive done that layer style "line"or something but its not a smooth enough outline, is there a better way ?

If you don't have a really old version of Pshop, you can double click on your layer in the layer window and check "stroke" from the bottom left. From there you can set the size, color, and other junk.

I use 5.5 so I guess thats considered old. So if the above ^ doesnt work for you try this...
If you want to apply a stroke (border around) to your text, you must render (or rasterize) that text layer. Then go to Edit > Stroke. Then choose how many pixels your stroke will be. This will determine how 'thick' your border is. It will use your foreground colour.
