Photoshop 7.0 crash in "Save For Web" mode
Whenever I try to save a picture for web, as soon as I click on "Save" Photoshop closes without any warning - just shuts down! I have no idea what is causing this problem as it's never happened before. Any ideas would be great!

Sounds like a Windoze machine to me.
Have you contacted Adobe support? |

I used to have issues with this. It had something to do with the
registry and IE. Somehow, IE would try to open when I did a SFW but it went really wrong. The only thing that fixed this was a reinstall. Perhaps you could try the same... |

fix for crash during photoshop "save for web"
I was having the same problem, but in Photoshop CS - but this fix should probably work for 7 as well. What you need to do is locate your Save for Web prefererences file. On Windows XP it tends to be here:
C:\Documents and Settings\~username~\Application Data\Adobe\Save For Web\8.0 Then just delete the Prefs file, restart Phopshop and that might fix it. Worked for me. |
