Photoshop CS demo-locked me out

Hi
Needing some help. I downloaded the demo version of Adobe Photoshop CS. The demo time ran out. So I paid for and downloaded the full programme.

Everytime I launch it the programme activates the expired demo version and won't let me enter the serial number of the programme. Any ideas? Is there is fix available. I couldn't find anything on the adobe site and tech support sent me an auto reply which mentioned within 48 hours and I don't have 48 hrs.

Tom

Try uninstalling the current demo and download a new one. Then you will have the option of entering the product key and activating the software. Hope this helps . . .

This might sound silly but, how do you uninstall something on a mac using OSX.

I clicked on the photoshop install button but there was no uninstall option there.

I am new to OSX, having upgraded from OS9 very recently. I am not sure how the system works and don't even know where to look for the system preferences. I did look just now but there was no sign of photoshop prefs. The Library containing preferences seems to lack photshop and may other programme preferences that I would have expected to see.

just drag everything to do with the photoshop cs demo into the trashcan and hit empty trash. Then proceed to install the full version. Also if it still tries to load up demo...look for an option within the menu to allow you to input your key code etc. Hope this helps -

Ah, if only it were so easy. I tried all that. It somehow remembers that there was a demo version there before. If there were an uninstall technique that could remove everything then it might be able to recognise and find the element that causes the programme to go into the demo mode.

Thanks. I was about to offer to do the logo for you but good luck with it.

Cheers
