Photoshop CS5 Unexpected end of file problem

Hi, I've got a HUUGE problem!

As I was saving a file yesterday the computer froze and when I tried opening the file again it failed due to an "unexpected end of file".

Now I know the problem with this is that the head and foot of the source code didn't save as it should've, but is there ANY way to salvage the information? I don't have to save ALL of the file but if at least SOME of the layers could be saved I'd be more than thrilled!

One thing that really bugs me about all this is also that when I try to open the file in Photoshop I can see a preview of the image as it was when I left it, but I can't open it! *Weep*

Does any of you know of a way to help me with this problem?

Thanx beforehand!

ack, not had that exact issue but i've had corrupt files before. let this be a lesson in saving backup files as well!
can't give you any specific help, but this might be of use, check out the "extract/recover tool"
http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/
not used it but it says you might be able to pull layers off the damaged file.
there's also http://www.fileinternals.com/psd-repair-photoshop-recovery.htm
but it's expensive, so it'll depend on how desperate you are to save the project.
