photoshop help
Hi,
im in a bit of a pickle and here it is, i went for a job interview today and they give me an assignment, thing is it is using Adobe Photoshop. Ive got experience using fireworks but NOT photoshop, so my question is how do i go about getting up to speed with photoshop - i really need to get up to speed within a day Appreciate any help Cheers Andy |

what i would do is look at photoshop tutorials at deviantart you have to download them but they show you have to one thing and can be realy helpfull
*note: some of the tutorials suck big time but most of them are usefull* |

Hi,
further more to my previous post, i would like to know how to do the following 1. the curve boxes that yuo see on websites such as amazon. 2. Rollover buttons etc - liek you can do in fireworks 3. Just some general tricks and tips please Cheers people appreciate any help Andy |

To make the rounded boxes, in the tools menu bar, click and hold down the shapes icon(or click keyboard shortcut U), then select rounded rectangle tool. You can specify how big of radius you want on the rounded edges in the top menu.
For the rollovers you will have to use ImageReady which is packaged with photoshop. The photoshop Help has instructions on how to do the rollover states. Open up the help menu and do a search for "rollover". |
