Ok - I don't know why this is doing this but for some reason my Photoshop CS is not allowing me to select 'english' in the resolution field when I create a new document in Photoshop. Any ideas why? Another installation here at my office shows English as an option - on my machine and another machine it's not there at all. This of course is concerning because if we select other language options the numbers get concerning and we are not confident that using 'Arabic' will provide us the correct resolution settings.

Are you using an Arabic version of Photoshop Cs? If so get an english version....

Practically all the numbers we write, type, etc. are Arabic numbers, e.g. 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
On the other hand, there are Roman numbers, like I V X C M etc. For math and resolutions we don't use these Roman numbers. Let's try: 1600 x 1200 resolution in Arabic numbers, is MDC x MCC resolution in Roman numbers. Not very useful, isn't it? (M = 1000) (D = 500) (C = 100) |
