PhotoshopCS not starting -

Hi - I've excitingly unrwapped the PhotoshopCS CD and installed it but I'm told that "Memory could not be allocated for the activation process. Please close all applications and tr again" then Photoshop closes.

I have bags of memory spare (even checked how much of it was being used as swap file etc). Any ideas how I correct this?

D.

there was a similar thread about this a couple of weeks back. You can check the size of your partition, make sure it's adequate.

Apart from that, I seem to remember a lot of people having to contact Adobe about it - and they then send you a link to a patch which you have to install.

Whatever happens, post the outcome here so that other people can refer to it when they have the same problem....:-)

CS problems.......

Ok this is all I did to get PS8 to work on my computer, I uninstalled it off the hard drive I had PS6 on. And put another hard drive in and installed it there- Presto....... works like a charm, must not like being on the same HD, go figure.
