Picture Writing: Need help with this.

Hey, i was wondering how to do "picture writing" i dont know what its called officially but i want to make writing look like this -

fonts my friend, fonts.

there a bizzillion different fonts out there that people use and then through applying various filters and layer effects do you accomplish something as "bling bling" as that.

just try messin around with fonts and filters etc to get a unique effect

Okay thanks, but i have fonts, they only are coloured fonts... white or black or red or blue, you know... the ones in that pic has something inside of it.

In short:

1. Write something and then rasterize your font.
2. Get a marquee around the font.
3. Make a new layer and choose that layer
4. Fill in the marquee with a pattern or your own doodles.
5. Remove the marquee.
6. Remove the first layer (where you wrote) and there you go!
