    Pixel location of items in a graphic

    I'm trying to find out how I can easily determine the pixel location of items in a graphic image. Let's say that I have this image;

    What I would like to be able to do is position my pointer at a spot on the image and be able to see where my x and y position is in pixels. Is there a way to do this?

    Is there a similar way to do this in Illustrator CS3?

    in PS, you need the "Info" tool, not sure about CS3 but in CS5 you press the F8 key, it should be something similar.
    the info panel gives various bits of info like the RGB values under the cursor, and the XY value. if you click the crosshair symbol on the info panel it should allow you to select the XY measurement units, from Inches, Pixels, Centimetres etc.
