Question Please HELP, Cannot open image!

I have just recieved a CD with all product pictures from Japan. The images are in .psd format. When I tried to open the image, the "new" window pops up instead of the image. After I click "ok", a blank new document opened.

Also, when I tried to copy the images from the CD to my computer, this error message pop up "The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable".

I don't know is it the CD that got damaged, or does it make a different if the person who created this image is used Mac (since I'm using PC).

Please help, thanks a lot

sounds like a bad disc, i don't think photoshop is at fault. if you've got a friend with a mac you could try opening it up on that, other than that, you may need the images resent.

You may also want to try ripping the data with a program designed to do just that. Download.com has a slue of programs ranging from all types and should have a few free ones available to help you out.

If the CD ends up being bad I'd recommend requesting them be hosted as it's vastly more convient for both of you and significantly more reliable.

G'luck.

I dont know if this will help

I was getting a similar message when trying to open a pic recently. I am using a PC and the pic was edited on a Mac.
The pic was saved in CYMX mode (or whatever it is ) and i needed to change the setting to RGB mode.

HTH
