PNG transparency not working?

I've made an image with a shadow along the top portion, and saved it as PNG-24 in Photoshop to preserve transparency, but it comes out as seen in the attached screen shot. I've tried various ways of saving the image, but nothing I do gives me the desired result. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Photoshop is buggy sometimes. Turn off it and restart your computer. If not work then reinstall again.

Another good option is exporting with fireworks if you have it, It makes the pngs more user friendly
