Problems getting font to go larger than size 72

I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS2 - and I've run into a awkward problem. I cannot get it to write text in larger than font 72. When I'm trying to insert text - it has the default sizes 6-72 for font size. Other is grayed out (always is, never seen it as an option to actually choose). I've been reading multiple tutorials for help on Photoshop and many of them mention using a font larger than 72 for watermarks or whatever else may be.

No matter what font I choose, other is always grayed out. I've scavaged through their help files and can't find anything even remotely close to this issue - so wondering if anybody else has run into this?

Thanks in advance to anybody who sheds a possible way to fix this

Dave

Will it let you type in the size you want in the sfont size selector? I use CS and it lets me type in any number.

medialint agrees: Same with the full blown product, just type it. Also, if you type say "120" the "120" should appear
on the top of the list above a separator bar next time you drop it down ... :-)

Also, with your text layer selected, you can press Ctrl+T to scale the text and make it as big or small as you like.

Ahhh, that works perfect! So simple, yet you guys wouldn't believe how much time I spent going through help files and whatnot trying to find a solution! haha

Very much appreciated

Dave
