Problems with wind filter
I've had this problem with the wind filter for a while now. For some reason, when I try to apply the filter, the actual wind effect doesn't appear. Instead, part of the object is cut away, as if the background was being "blown" onto the object. I'm usually applying the filter to text, and I haven't been able to get rid of this problem.
The odd thing is, my school also has photoshop on their computers, and it does it there too. I have no idea why it stopped working. Please help. |

Don't know if this helps, but I've noticed that filters in PS usually work better at lower resolution. I believe that this is a memory issue. Try expanding your mem cache or using a box with more memory.

i see the same thing your seeing, i know you want it so that the object expands outside where it was before, and doesn't peel away from the driection the wind is coming from. I don't know how to so that, but yet i've done it before useing wind. There must be something we're both missing.
