Smile *.psd button template - confused

Hi All,

Brand new to photoshop, so haven't a clue about anything. I've tried website tutorials for my problem but none of them are for the CS2 version so i cannot follow the instructions.

Basically i have a psd file of a button template. In the first instance i would like to be able to make new buttons from this. I have tried editing the text, and although i can do this...the text does not fit on the button and is not of the same style as the other buttons generated from this psd..told you i was brand new.

Secondly, i would actually like to make my own template for 2 sets of buttons ( new websites coming soon) and without a clue and no up to date tutorials i have really hit a brick wall....i don't even know how to change the colour of an existing button let alone start from scratch...

Has anyone got any upto date links to tutorials that i can have a look at?

Please please please help...this is driving me completely mad...

Regards

Donna

A good spot for tutorials is pixel2life. I don't know how many of them are for CS2 Specifically, but for what you need, I don't think the PS version is really going to make that big a difference. As far as i know, changing text, size and colours of items hasn't changed for a while.

Hope the tutorials work out for you.
