quick question
Hi,
If an images background is blue, and there is blue in the image, how do you get PS to change just the background to transparent and not effect image itself? Thanks Last edited by hingis_rules : January 27th, 2004 at 06:05 PM. |

Try the magic wand tool. With a low tolerance, click on the background blue and then open a new layer and fill it with another color. If any of the blue in the image gets selected you could use the lasso in subtraction mode to deselect those areas.
Of course, this method wouldn't be so good if the image is too complex, and a lot of blue areas got selected with the background. The more defined the color borders the better. |
