rotating, resizing, captions

Hello, I am very new to Photoshop and only have Photoshop Elements 2.0. I want to make aalbums for my 3 sons from pictures I've taken over the years. I want to take some 6 inch x 4 inch pictures and make the into 4" x 6 " pictures. Is this possible? I would like to add a caption at the bottom of each picture also. I' also have lots of pictures that are old and smaller than the standard 4" x 6" pictures that you get developed today. I just want one standard size picture in the albums and them all the same heighth and width. I sure would appreciate any help. Thank you, Nancy

There is software out there that will do this easily. One of the best for Mac is iPhoto, which comes with new Macs and allows you to do everything you want. For other programs, like if you use Windows, check out the Google Directory listing.

Elements is not really what you're looking for. It is for editing the actual images, not cataloguing them.
