Any day from now I may format my harddisk. But of course I want to save all the styles i made in photoshop, is it possible to locate all the styles i made in photoshop so that i can create a backup of it?

It's possible. But path depends from OS which you use.
If it WinXP that: C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\7.0\Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Settings\ There is all of you settings include not only styles - all. You can to make backup of all that files and after reinstalling Photoshop - just copy it over existing. After this you will get fully adjusted Photoshop as you never reinstall it. Also you can save styles in the file anywhere - just open Preset Manager, select Styles, select all (ctrl+a) and press button "Save set". |
